Event description

About this Event

Health focus: build and learn about the breast. Disease focus: breast cancers.Prevention: talk about early detection, the Race for the Cure, etc.

Have you ever wondered how disease processes affect normal anatomy and physiology? In these health awareness workshops you will build in clay part of an anatomical system and learn about its physiology as well as how disease can affect the system. We will discuss current treatment options and how to prevent cancer.

Using the ANATOMY IN CLAY Learning System, you will build human body systems with clay onto scale models. "The Mind Cannot Forget What the Hands Have Learned." -Jon Zahourek, Founder of ANATOMY IN CLAY Centers.
