Event description

Description

UniPro-NY and the Asian-American Arts Alliance warmly welcome poet and professor Sarah Gambito for a special Healing through Dialogue event in honor of Filipino-American History Month. Healing through Dialogue: “Love abounding Loveabounding” in Fil-Am Lit re-envisions poetry as both rite and reclamation, a powerful force in our path to healing and ultimately, to love. Join us with Sarah for an evening of meditation, poetry reading, writing workshops, and Q&A. Let’s write to each other to discover how we can share our imaginations as a community and center our strength through connection.

Sarah Gambito is the author of the poetry collections Delivered (Persea Books) and Matadora (Alice James Books).
