Description

Healing in the Village: Are the Children Well?

The Austin Regional Gathering will include a series of events for those in our community who are committed to the belief that the Village is not well if its children are not well. The first event will occur on Friday, January 25, 2019 on the campus of Huston-Tillotson University. The event will include keynote presentations by Dr. Leonard Moore and Dr. Michele A. Roundtree, both from the University of Texas. Participants will also be able to choose from 8 workshops on an array of topics. Educators, policymakers, community leaders, and those who understand that there must be a true Conspiracy of Care designed to protect and serve the well-being of children, youth, and the community are urged to attend this day-long forum.
