Event description
A unique workshop where you can observe live sessions using the NeuroAffective Relational Model™ for Healing Complex Trauma (C-PTSD).

About this Event

The NeuroAffective Relational Model™ (NARM™) is a powerful theoretical and clinical model for navigating the complexities of relational, developmental, and attachment trauma. NARM™ is an integrative approach that offers a coherent model for working with complex trauma, and works with the link between psychological issues and the body. It is both a psychodynamic and nervous system/somatically-based approach designed to help build clients’ capacity for self-regulation and interpersonal connection.

We are excited to be returning to Arizona in March 2020 to offer another year-long NARM Therapist Training.

If you are curious about the training or would like to learn more about NARM™, join us in Scottsdale at The Meadows Outpatient Center on Friday, December 6, 2019 for two events:

Introduction to NARM™ Workshop: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (Complementary) and NARM Demonstration & Experiential Workshop: 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm with Brad Kammer, LMFT, LPCC.

Event Presenter: Brad Kammer is a NARM Master Therapist, Senior Faculty and the NARM Training Director. He is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Faculty. He works in private practice in Ukiah, California and is a professor at Sonoma State University and Mendocino College.

NARM Live Demonstration Workshop

Join us for this special opportunity to observe live NARM sessions given by NARM Senior Trainer Brad Kammer. This unique workshop is for anyone interested in seeing how NARM works for healing attachment, relational and developmental trauma. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn first-hand how to apply NARM theory and skills in working with elements of Complex Trauma including shame, guilt, anxiety, depression, helplessness, self-criticism and self-hatred.

Brad will begin the workshop with a very basic review of NARM theory and skills (we’d encourage you to attend the NARM Intro Workshop in the morning). He will then rely on participants to volunteer for demonstration sessions. He will do 3-4 live demos with time to reflect and discuss the demonstrations between sessions. We will create a safe and welcoming group that is focused on learning and exploration.

If you’re interested in ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), Interpersonal Neurobiology, Somatic Psychotherapy, or you’re just interested in learning more about healing Complex Trauma, you won’t want to miss this special opportunity to see how NARM looks in real life sessions.
