Description

The Meeting's Theme: Effective EAL Differentiation in Mainstream Classrooms

This is the eighth meeting of a new and fast-growing group of teachers in Hull with keen interest in serving EAL learners as well as we can. The group's members include mainstream subject teachers (early years, nursery, primary and secondary, EAL specialist teachers and EAL TAs. Volunteer teachers share their practice, resources, experiences and insights - which we can take back to our classrooms!

Each time, we meet at a different school in Hull to understand more about the different environments and contexts we work in and learn from them. This time, we're meeting at Newland School for Girls.

If you live and/or work in our city, we encourage you to sign up to this free event. If you'd like to present (PowerPoint okay, but not required...), please let Kamil Trzebiatowski, the group's leader, know (KTrzebiatowski@newland.hull.sch.uk / kamil@ktlangspec.co.uk or @ktlangspec on Twitter). If you wish to simply attend, simply register here.

The programme/agenda to follow as we get closer to the event and have signed-up presenters.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
