About this Event

Join us for a presentation led by Mike Mierzwa in DWR’s Office of Floodplain Management on a newly formed collaborative effort called Headwaters to Floodplains (H2F): Flood Safety Partnership. H2F is a State effort co-led by DWR and the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) focused on engaging partners at the federal, state, and local level to strengthen flood management and increase public awareness about flood risk in California. The H2F: Flood Safety Partnership will support California floodplain managers, dam owners, and other water agencies and organizations to create a robust network of partners that are equipped to offer technical assistance and funding opportunities to improve flood risk awareness and preparedness throughout the state. Find out more at our webinar on October 22.
