Head Full Of Honey is about Tilda (Emma Schweiger) and her grandfather Amandus (Dieter Hallervorden), who has Alzheimer’s. He always enjoys life but now that his wife has passed, his health condition has gotten worse. Tilda’s parents cannot take care of Amandus and want to put him in a nursing home. Only ten-year-old Tilda understands her grandfather, who is lost in his own world. She deals with him and his disease by looking at it through the eyes of a child, and with a kind of sensitivity that approaches the disease in a humorous but emotional way, without forgetting its tragic aspect. Tilda decides to kidnap Amandus, thus helping him to fulfill his lifelong dream of visiting Venice, the place where he and his wife had first met and fell in love.
