This class certifies you as a Studio Producer Level 2, which means you can book time for free in our HD Studios; operate our on-site equipment, including Hitachi Z-HD5000 cameras, video switcher, audio mixer, teleprompter, and lighting and graphic systems; and submit videos to our cable channels.
PCM is located off the #6 bus line. If you are driving to PCM we have a parking lot located on NE Graham. Our main entrance is located on the corner of NE Graham and NE MLK. For directions please call our main line at (503) 288-1515.
PCM requires a certain number of participants to register in order to hold a workshop. This number varies depending on the workshop. In the event that minimum enrollment is not met, a class will be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. Participants who have already registered will be contacted and are entitled to a full refund or, if they choose, the registration fee can be transferred to a different workshop.
PCM workshops typically grant certification on the equipment and software taught in the course unless otherwise. Workshops participants must attend ALL workshop sessions in order to receive certification. No make-up sessions will be allowed except in cases of emergency. Participants must contact to be considered for make-up sessions.
Arriving Late or Missing a Workshop
If you miss the first day or are more than 30 minutes late, you will lose your place in the workshop.
Registered workshop participants are entitled to a full refund if they cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the first of class. Participants who cancel less than 72 hours before a class will NOT be entitled to a refund, and transfers will only be approved at the discretion of PCM staff.
PCM does not require prerequisites for their courses. Recommendations for previous experience or prior courses will be listed in advanced workshop descriptions.
