Description

The Howard County Economic Development Authority invites you to join us for a business brief breakfast. Our featured speaker, Fraunhofer USA, will share an overview of their Center for Experimental Software Engineering's (CESE) work and capabilities in advanced systems and software engineering. As well as review selected projects serving NASA, the University of Maryland and commercial clientele, and discuss opportunities on how they can support Howard County companies.

Featured Speaker:

Dr. Mikael Lindvall is the Technology Director at Fraunhofer USA, Inc., Center for Experimental Software Engineering, which is located in College Park, MD. Since 1999, Dr. Lindvall has been involved in the Center’s development of analysis methods and tools and has worked with industry and government on a wide range of systems such as NASA flight and ground systems, medical devices, medical and health systems etc. He has served as the principal investigator of several successful software assurance research projects for NASA, including projects on model-based testing, testing for off-nominal conditions, and security testing. Dr. Lindvall currently serves as the principal investigator of a NASA project on requirements for autonomous systems. He also teaches graduate courses at the University of Maryland, College Park, in Security and Software Engineering, Software Testing and Software and System Requirements Engineering.
