  • The HBCU STEM Experience: Learning the histories of Our Greatest Jewels, those with STEM connections & a touch of pop culture.
  • HBCU Pennant Factory: Depicting your future in art form on a pennant. Recommended for K-5th grade.
  • Access Granted: Successfully navigating the HBCU admissions process.
  • Culture Shock – The Psychological Preparation: Leaving the diversity of Southern California to the predominantly black south & southeast regions.
  • For Parents ONLY: How to prepare yourself and your child emotionally for college.
  • How to Obtain an HBCU Music Scholarship Sponsored by Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy: For student musicians who are thinking about attending an HBCU, find out how to obtain a scholarship. Recommended for 6th -12th grade.
  • Test Stress – A Parent’s Real Guide to College Test Prep Sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center: Tips on helping your child deal with stress & anxiety of taking standardized tests from leading experts. Goal to navigate through the test-taking season and develop a high school action plan for college readiness.
  • My HBCU Life Sponsored by Imatter Creations, LLC: Based on My HBCU Life, children’s book and real life experiences at an HBCU. Get interactive dialogue, excerpts of the book, personal experiences, song and dance with author, Michelle McCombs.
  • The FASFA Process Sponsored by D.R.E.A.M. Inc.: This workshop provides an 8 step process that will enable you to effortlessly complete your FASFA application. Get answers to specific questions concerning your potential HBCU’s financial aid process.
