Description

HAZWOPER Training Class

THE CLASS AT A GLANCE

Although our day will include 2 hours of classroom instruction, the majority of our time will involve actual lab pack practice (so dress accordingly). American Industrial Services will be working with us on the lab pack, providing directions and answering tough questions about chemical identifications and packaging. This “hands on” experience will especially benefit those working directly with the identification, management, transfer, packaging, storage, handling and disposal of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW).

TO NOTE: This class is an 8 hour HAZWOPER refresher/awareness class covering a review of the Hazwoper rules, Hazard Communication rules, general safety, personal protection, an overview of DOT hazardous materials regulations and household hazardous waste specific safety including spills and response.
