HayDay is a story that came about from the curiosity in wanting to understand more about cowboys in the American south/southeast and how this still plays a role in the 21st century life for a select group of Americans keeping tradition alive. These ranchers and farm hands are the backbone of society providing us with the essentials to live. The Modern Cowboy is history meeting the present to impact the future. I have been spending time on trail rides, farms and horse ranches, making connections with these people while trying to get an idea of why they are still so passionate about not just the culture but the necessity of the job.
