Description

In this workshop Val will demonstrate how easy it is to make cultured, probiotic, fermented foods at home from our abundant Autumn harvest. You will learn how to pickle yummy pumpkin, ferment other root veggies and make your own fizzy spiced pumpkin kombucha, amazing!

Val O’Connor is a Limerick based food writer with three cook book titles under her apron strings as well being a weekly columnist for the Irish Examiner and a features contributor to the Sunday Times, Irish Independent and Food and Wine Magazine. Val is also a passionate grower of organic food and teaches this in community-based projects across the city. Fermenting is her big thing and she loves to get in a pickle with sourdough and sauerkraut, kimchi and kombucha and many more
