Havdallah Bonfire at the Urban Adamah Farm
Come gather with friends to celebrate the start of a new week and the abundance of food and community we are blessed with!
Join Wilderness Torah and Urban Adamah for a Havdallah Bonfire Gathering to celebrate the end of the longest Shabbat of the year!*
On June 16th, just a few days before the summer solstice, gather with friends old and new on the Urban Adamah farm in Berkeley for a bonfire, music, drinks, a light nosh, and a dessert potluck. Yum!
Come at 8PM to check out the bountiful Urban Adamah community farm and have a snack and a drink.
At 9:15pm, we’ll make Havdallah (the short, musical ceremony that separates Shabbat from the rest of the week), light the bonfire, and celebrate with homegrown music, hot chai tea and a dessert potluck.
What to Bring:
- A camping chair
- Your cup for chai, beer, and cider
- Warm clothes
- Musical instruments
- A headlamp
- An item for the dessert potluck if you wish
Sliding scale of $10-25. Suggested donation of $15 covers snacks and drinks. Please register in advance, as space is limited. Kids under 13 are free.
This is an ingredient-kosher, vegetarian dessert potluck. No bacon chocolate or lard muffins, please.
Co-Sponsored by our good friends at Urban Adamah.
*It is technically tied for the longest Shabbat of the year with the following weekend.
