Haunted Hackathon at Spotify
Come hack on sound art installations or any 'halloweeny' related project that will be showcased as a haunted house.
Then take the opportunity to present in a unique fashion: public reception / gallery opening / haunted house at 9pm.
Saturday, November 1st, 2014 - Noon to 11:00 PM
Noon - 9:00 PM
Arrive and start hacking! Lunch will be served. The goal of this 9 hour session is for each person or team to claim a location in Spotify's cafeteria, stage, kitchen, or ping pong area and turn it into a spooky sound art installation or create that jawdropping 'halloweeny' hack. Then later each project will be presented in a haunted house fashion so get ready for foggy surroundings and spooky treats. See here and here for some photos of last year's crazy Haunted Hackathon at Control Group in the Woolworth Building.
Reception / gallery opening / haunted house; Open to the public.
Experience immersive spooky sound art and meet the hacker artists.
Just bring your laptop, charger, and a hunger to hack. We'll feed you and take care of everything else!
People of at levels of coding, technical expertise, or music experience are welcome!
