Event description

Description

Haunt ME's 2nd Annual Fundraiser

Join Haunt ME, with special guests Grant Wilson and Reanna Wilson, on their 2019 fundraising event at the historic Oliver House and Middleborough Town Hall for a weekend of investigation and adventure.

Investigate the historic Oliver House and Town Hall

Investigate two historical locations with the Haunt ME team and enjoy a weekend of lectures, workshops, divination, and exploration. Whether you’re more into the latest ghost hunting technology, a metaphysical approach, or somewhere in between, our goal is for you to end the weekend as a stronger investigator than when you started (and have a bunch of fun along the way!).

Grant Wilson of Syfy’s ‘Ghost Hunters’ and Youtube’s ‘What the Fetch’ will be on hand to answer all your paranormal questions, and guide you with his experience in The Oliver House. Historians and resident investigators from both locations will field questions as well, and local vendors will help prepare you for the night ahead.

Come with us and see

Get tickets now for both the limited VIP night on Friday at the Oliver House as well as Saturday’s line-up of events at the Oliver House and Town Hall. Friday night includes a tour of the Oliver House with its historians and a 3-hour investigation in small groups. Workshops on Tarot , Viking Rune, Celtic Ogham, and Reiki will be offered by the team throughout the day Saturday, alongside historical and paranormal lectures to arm investigators with the knowledge they need to maximize their efforts after dark.

Whether you’re new to the paranormal field or a seasoned pro, get ready for a weekend of learning and exploration while helping to fund a new season of Haunt ME and restore the historic Oliver House.

Will you help us determine who (or what) calls this place their home?

Join us on July 26 - 27 and let’s investigate together!

More Information

Some quick history: The Oliver House is Haunt ME’s first location during the upcoming sixth season of our web series (the cat is now out of the bag). Its historical relevance to revolutionary America dates back to its construction in 1769 by a family loyal to the crown of England. Prominent figures in our nations history have ties to the homestead, including Benjamin Franklin who successfully exposed the Oliver family’s ties to the King, effectively upheaving the family’s life in early Massachusetts. Since then the house has changed hands many times, and each inhabitant has left their own mark for you to now investigate.

The paranormal brief: Both the Oliver House and Middleborough Town Hall are as paranormally active (in a safe way) as they are historically significant. The town hall’s enormous space allows for investigators to spread out and hunt in privacy (perfect for those working on their audio work) while the Oliver House spikes with activity surrounding intelligent interaction. Going further for those interested in cryptozoology, the woods stretching back behind the house will be open for investigators who are sure of foot and spirit, and wish to search for the rumored Puckwudgie inhabitants. (Just be sure not to follow a Will-o-wisp should you see one.)
