Hatched - MFA Design: The Designer as Author + Entrepreneur Thesis Forum
Event Information
Description
The MFA Design Thesis Forum is a showcase for the 2013 Masters students to present their entrepreneurial products to peers and public.
The MFA Design: The Designer as Author + Entrepreneur opens the SVA Theatre to members of the design community and press, as well as potential clients, partners, and investors to hear and see the unique proposals for commercial and social products and campaigns. Each student will present on the main stage to introduce their market-ready ventures.
The mission of the School of Visual Arts MFA Design is to enable designers to develop their talents in a viable entrepreneurial way, through conception, design, and production of cultural, social and commercial products. During their two years of study, students are encouraged to redefine the traditional role of designer and develop content, identify audiences and produce wares of value.
Join the faculty and students of MFA Design for this very special day.
