About this event
Learn how to use a sewing machine. We will cover the basics of threading a machine, changing stitches, tension, and several tips to get started.
All sewing machines and materials will be provided by Hatch. Please do not bring your own sewing machine.
This workshop is designed for sewing novices or beginners who need a refresher. Participants must be age 10 or older. Anyone under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Minors taking the workshop on their own must have Hatch's waiver form signed by their parent/guardian.
Registration is required.
This workshop starts on time. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.

Hatch Makerspace, affectionately called Hatch, is a workshop space stocked with tools, materials, and expertise so that community members can learn and create their own do-it-yourself projects.
