CHOWGIRLS HARVEST MOON SUPPER
To celebrate the Autumnual Equinox and the bounty of the fall harvest, Chowgirls invites you to their latest pop-up dinner. 5:30pm cocktail hour followed by 6:30pm seating at a king-style dining table.
Enjoy a four-course, local, organic meal with friends and foodies in the intimate setting of Chowgirls Parlor. Beer, wine, and specialty cocktails, as well as seasonal non-alcoholic beverages, are available.
Smoked Gouda & Chard Dip
Made with Marieke Gouda from Holland's Family Farm in Thorp, Wisconsin, and local greens.
Salad of crusty bread, local cucumbers, and local tomatoes from eQuality Farms, a program in Loretto, MN, that provides community-based training to individuals with developmental disabilities.
CHOICE OF ENTRÉE
All entrées are served with a side of crisp roasted kale, sourced from Harmony Valley Farm of Viroqua, MN.
Seasonal vegetable stew made of eggplant, squash, tomatoes, and more, sourced from the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market. Served with quinoa, the protein-rich "mother of all grains." (Vegetarian/Vegan Entrée)
Latin-style beef, sourced from Thousand Hills Cattle Company in Cannon Falls, slow-cooked with farmers market sweet peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Served with garlicky, cheesey, steel-cut grits.
Poblano Cream Chicken
Slow-roasted Callister Farms whole chicken, pulled and stewed in a rich sauce of cream from Cedar Summit and mild green chili peppers. Served with garlicky, cheesey, steel-cut grits.
Caramelized Apple Custard
Slow-cooked, sweetened, and spiced local apples atop a rich, creamy filling of Larry Schultz eggs and Cedar Summit cream.
