Harvest Moon - "Farm Dinner at The Overlook"
Event Information
Description
Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard presents a Farm Dinner at The Overlook
Experience the orchard like you never have before.
LAST CALL! You must purchase your tickets by Tuesday July 11th at 11:00pm!
We proudly announce Harvest Moon's first ever farm dinner!
Our family and local restaurateurs, John and Paul Aversano, have come together to create a truly cultivated farm to table experience. Guests will enjoy artfully prepared seasonal cuisine and drinks, inspired both by our farm and the culinary expertise of the Aversano brothers.
This special dining experience will take place at The Overlook, an exquisite stone patio located at the highest point in our orchard. It provides stunning vistas of the surrounding Hudson Valley hills, as well as the very fields and orchards where the farm dinner food (and even beverages!) were grown. Dine among friends and family while taking in the orchard's beautiful, pastoral views.

A Word About Who We Are
Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard is a family owned and operated apple orchard located in North Salem, NY, in Westchester County. Their main harvest is in September with apples but they also grow a variety of vegetables and stone fruits which ripen summer through Fall and are available at the farm store or through a CSA. First-generation farmers run the business and have been expanding on their offerings every year since 2011 when they began. In their words, "We are passionate about what we do here. Our goal is to supply our community with fresh, local, healthy food direct from the farmer, all while providing a fun, family-oriented and upbeat atmosphere for our customers to enjoy."
Not just a fruit, flower and vegetable farm, Harvest Moon also raises antibiotic and hormone-free, organic animals. Year round they stock their own farm-raised meats such as turkey, chicken, pork and 100% grass fed beef. They also sell their very own hard cider (Hardscrabble Cider), their own farm fresh free-range eggs, local honey, local dairy & cheeses, local maple syrup and other country store items. From the bakery you can expect their famous apple cider donuts (everyday!), fruit pies and specialty pastries. From the farm kitchen you can indulge in a mouth-watering bacon egg and cheese sandwich as well as other slow-food dishes made from ingredients grown right on the farm. Grab a spot in the new outdoor seating area while you enjoy your fresh food and a hard cider, overlooking the very land from which it all came.
Harvest Moon also hosts a wealth of big seasonal events – the Easter Egg Hunt and Apple Blossom Festival in Spring, Hardscrabble Cider events throughout the Summer and a really happening Fall Festival on weekends during September and October. You may also sign up for their 18-week Summer/Fall CSA program and bulk meat shares from their animals (sign-ups happen in Spring).
Open 7 days a week from April-December there are always friendly faces available to answer questions and spread the word about their farm and special events!
