Event Details

HARVEST is a modern, yet authentic steampunk experience taking place on Halloween; the favorite holiday of The Melissa Carter Transplant Fund’s namesake. The name HARVEST is also a play on words as the method used to cultivate and gather organs is termed ‘harvesting’ in the transplant community. HARVEST’s sole purpose is to ‘harvest’ those individuals willing to give the gift of life by registering to be an organ donor.

HARVEST will be a costume party unlike any other with authentic steampunk performances, as well as visual displays with plenty of tricks and treats. While awaiting the celebrity-judged costume contest, guests will enjoy music by DJ Ree de la Vega & the Atlanta Philharmonica Orchestra, all while sipping wine and cocktails courtesy of Captain Morgan Black, Patron XO Cafe & Cassillero del Diablo.

The Melissa Carter Transplant Fund

The Melissa Carter Transplant Fund benefits transplant candidates, as well as their families, along with transplant doctors and nurses in Georgia. The fund was created after its namesake Melissa Carter received a life saving kidney transplant in 2002 in an effort to assist the patients and their families or caregivers.
