Talk About Haruki Murakami
Haruki Murakami is a renowned Japanese writer. With many best selling books, his works are translated into more than 50 languages and have made him popular all over the world, including the Philippines. To experience Haruki Murakami’s world with your senses, the Japan Foundation, Manila presents the “Haruki Murakami Festival in Manila: Experiencing his world through Music, Films and Talks.”

In our Haruki Murakami Festival in Manila Opening Night, Murakami expert Alona Guevarra introduces audiences to Murakami’s world along with discussant Julz Riddle. After the talk, pianist April Merced-Misa will perform a glimpse of the “Listen to Haruki Murakami” concert on March 23 and 24.
