Event description
A play about America's leading abolitionist

About this Event

February is Black History Month, and we invite you to learn from the experience of America's most revered abolitionist, Harriet Tubman, during a deeply touching play, “Harriet Tubman: One Woman’s Journey."

This play was written and will be performed solo by Jackie Murray, a professional singer/songwriter/actress and teaching artist with the Tennessee Arts Commission. Murray has performed numerous times in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee for excited audiences, both young and old, in schools and universities.

This event takes place in the Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery. We will begin the performance at 7:00 pm sharp. Wine, beer, and light snacks will be made available to patrons. $20 per adult.
