HARDCORE STRENGTH PROGRAM 8 WEEK CHALLENGE!
Who can participate?
Anybody from CrossFit Hardcore is eligible to participate.
How Much Does it Cost?
$20 entry fee per person.
What is the challenge?
The challenge will start with initial 1RM testing of snatch, clean and jerk, back squat, and deadlift. Once we have a baseline for all participants we will begin the 8-week challenge. Athletes will be assigned 2 workouts per week with coach Sean with options to come work with him between 5PM-7PM and an AM session (TBA). There will also be one additional bonus workout which participants can do for bonus points on Saturday or Sunday. Once the 8 week program is complete we will perform a “re-test” week where we can then compare baseline numbers with the new numbers which should hopefully be PR’s (personal records).
How will the winner be determined?
We will have 1 male and 1 female winner. Several different criteria will be tested and overall winners will be determined by improvements in the following:
- Total %increase in 1RM snatch, clean and jerk, back squat, and deadlift.
- Number of days in attendance of Weightlifting class.
- Body composition improvements (aka percentage loss of fat and muscle gained)
- Technical Improvements in lifting as judged by coach Sean.
What will I win?
The grand prize will be cash. The cash prize will be based on # of participants. The more people that participate the larger the prize pot grows! Even if you don't win hopefully you'll walk away from this challenge stronger than you started and your technique will be even better!
