Take your hearth-cooking skills to a higher level with Plimoth Plantation’s Foodways Culinarian Kathleen Wall. Experience preparing a meal in one of our reproduction 17th-century homes using period recipes and techniques. Enjoy the warmth of an open flame, the aroma of spices in a mortar and pestle, and the company of other enthusiasts. Recreate a meal full of dishes familiar to the Pilgrims, and end the day with a round table discussion about period food and the significance of the hearth to modern and historic communities.
