Event Details

Are you a parent wondering how you can respond to your tween's or teen's desire to watch the Netflix series that has swept across every middle and high school in America - 13 Reasons Why?

Has your child already seen the series and you are conflicted about how and when and what to say in regards to the topics of bullying, drinking, drugs, sex and suicide that the series brings front and center?

Join us for a night of education and interaction with Brandon Farbstein, TEDxRVA speaker and  Julie Best Wilcox, LCSW of Thriveworks Chesterfiled to discuss these hard topics.  You will walk away with a clear understanding of what these topics mean to our tweens and teens and how you can have meaningful dialogue with your kids about them.

You better not watch that show! isn't the only way to respond.  Parents have to tackle HARD topics every day.  Let's work together to better understand and discuss these important topics with our kids!

***A portion of our ticket sales will go directly to Beacon Tree Foundation, a local non-profit organization that serves to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention among our youth.
