Harbor Use Public Forums Monthly Meeting
Wed, July 26, 2017, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM EDT
It's been 50 years since Boston's last citywide plan. The general plan of 1965 sought to reverse Boston's decline. Fast forward to today and it's clear that Boston has undergone an incredible transformation. We're in the midst of a remarkable building boom that is reshaping our city. Our population is growing, reversing decades of population loss in the second half of the 20th century. The challenge for us today is to harness this energy so that we preserve wisely, enhance equitably, and grow intelligently.
Come share your vision and help chart the course of Boston's future so that we ensure our city and waterfront remain thriving, healthy, resilient and innovative.
Boston Harbor Now is the lead non-profit advocate for balanced development and public amenities along Boston’s waterfront. Our policy team is known for its intensive engagement in the environmental permitting process for new development proposals along the waterfront.
A critical part of this process involves monthly stakeholder meetings at which developers can present draft plans and receive knowledgeable feedback. Please RSVP if you would like to be placed on our email list for receiving notices of monthly meetings.
