Harambee! Inspiration, music, dance, celebration! Join us as we commemorate 45 years of Raritan Valley NCNW service to central NJ.

About this event

The Raritan Valley Section of National Council of Negro Women, Inc. invites you to attend our annual Harambee event where this year we will commemorate our 45th year of serving Central NJ communities. Be inspired by our keynote speaker Ms. Natasha Rodgers Founder & CEO, Simuel Whitfield Organization, savor the smooth music of saxophonist Mr. James White, and enjoy the interpretive dance of Ms. Chloe Jackson. Join us in commemorating selected honorees whom we will recognize for making our communities stronger through their service.

Organizer of Harambee! 45 Years of Service Celebration

The NCNW is a council of national African American women's organizations and community-based sections. Founded in 1935 by Mary McLeod Bethune, the NCNW mission is to lead, develop, and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities. NCNW fulfills this purpose through research, advocacy, and national and community-based services and programs on issues of health, education, economic empowerment / entrepreneurship, and public policy.
