Many of us experience some tension and stress in the upper back, shoulders and neck areas.

Usually it comes from prolonged sitting, working with various electronic devices, driving or even cycling long distances. Often we tend to stick the chin and head forward, roll the shoulders forward and down, depress the chest, round our backs and slouch forward. Over time, this weakens and stresses many of the muscles of the upper back causing discomfort and injuries. The good news is that we can work on those muscles when we do yoga.

If you would like to relieve tension, create greater mobility, strength, and health in your shoulders, upper back and neck, this workshop is for you.

In this 2,5-hour workshop we will explore how to improve shoulder mobility and strengthen muscles supporting the shoulder girdle. We will learn how to use your yoga practice to create balanced joint space and freedom of movement.

This workshop will teach you Yoga-based practices specifically designed to address shoulder issues caused by unhealthy habits of our modern lifestyle.

Suitable for curious students of all levels including absolute beginners.
