Schelvin Robinson will be our guest educator, helping you focus on practicing, fundamentals and solo repertoires.
Robinson is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, where he is pursuing a Doctor of Music in Trumpet Performance with a certificate in Arts Administration and College Teaching. He received the McKnight Doctoral and Dissertation Fellowship (2025–26). He holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Florida and a BS in Music Education from Florida A&M University.
He is the founder of Trumpet Outreach for Youth Education (T.O.Y.E.), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the next generation of trumpet players through workshops, mentorship and educational resources.
HAPCO Music Foundation helps young people use their musical, culinary and artistic talents to build their better futures. Students improve their talents to obtain college scholarships or to pursue professional careers. Info: https://hapcopromo.org
