FAQs
What are the recommended ages for this production?
This is a family-friendly show, recommended for all school-age children and younger (if you know your child has the attention span). It is a perfect introduction to opera for children and adults and will also be enjoyed by veteran opera lovers. As a unique service, Central Presbyterian Church will open its "Cry Room" in the adjacent Education Building for parents to accompany children who need to settle down enabling the parent and child to return to the show instead of necessarily going home and missing out. Child care will not provided, however.
If I purchase a Priority ticket for myself and a children's ticket for my child, will we be able to sit together?
Priority seats are specially priced and will provide the best views of the show. Additionally, Priority ticket holders will be admitted 5-10 minutes before the rest of the audience in order to pick the section of the House you prefer. No discounts apply for Priority seating - all ticket holders, including children, students and seniors, must have a Priority ticket to sit in those sections.
Will I still be able to see if I only buy General Admission tickets or Children's/Senior Citizen discounted ones?
Yes! The seating at Central Presbyterian is generally very good, and you will be able to pick certain spots in the balconies or closer to the orchestra depending on your preference. Priority seats guarantee the very best views.
Will refreshments be available?
Refreshments and souvenirs will be sold during the two short intermissions.
