Event description
Kubernetes is a powerful orchestration system that allows you to Build, Deploy, and Scale your container-based workloads.

About this Event

Kubernetes is a powerful orchestration system that allows you to Build, Deploy, and Scale your container-based workloads. By using a method called Desired State Management, you provide a single definition of your application requirements, which can run on any Kubernetes engine. With support on all major cloud vendors such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and on-premises support with tools like Rancher, you can run your applications anywhere.

Join Naveego’s Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer, Derek Smith for a hands-on workshop where you will:

  • Use the kubectl command line application to interact with a Kubernetes cluster
  • Learn how to manage and monitor a Kubernetes cluster with Kubernetes Dashboard
  • Use the Kubernetes extension inside VS Code to interact with the cluster
  • Deploy a containerized application to a Kubernetes cluster with Helm

This is a hands-on, bring-your-own-device session. A tccodes social hour will follow.
