Description

Fermenting is an old topic that is HOT again. Local organic gardener and simple living expert, Karen Geiser, will discuss how to select produce and equipment, how the fermenting process works and the health benefits of these "good for the gut" foods. In this class, she will not only demonstrate making a batch of sauerkraut, dill pickles, and discuss a few other ferments like yogurt and kombucha, she will also help you in a new hands on portion of this beloved classic class.

Karen's gardening expertise is top-notch, and it's always provided in the neighborly, interesting, and informative fashion she has become known for.
