Crafting & conversation about women in history

About this Event

Join the staff of The Grove Museum for Handmade History as we discuss women in the arts.

We will be joined by special guests from the community who will help lead the group discussion: Dr. Yolanda J. Franklin, Visiting Assistant Professor of English at FAMU; Kathleen Spehar, Executive Director of the Council on Culture and Arts; and Aja Roache, Director of the Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Galley at FAMU.

During our conversation, we will each be working on a small painting.

This is a ticketed program geared towards adults ages 18+; $5 ticket purchase includes program, supplies, and light refreshments.

Advanced ticket purchase is required. Purchase tickets here, or email TheGrove@dos.myflorida.com to purchase offline.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
