Description
OPERA THEATRE OF MONTCLAIR will present Handel's ACIS AND GALATEA, a Baroque opera sung in English, fully-staged and costumed with chamber orchestra, on Thursday, September 8, 8 PM, Friday, September 9, 8 PM, and Saturday, September 10, 2 PM, and 8 PM. It will be presented in-the-round and performed at Redeemer Montclair, 19 North Willow Street, Montclair. The opera is conducted by Robert Butts with stage direction by internationally-renowned countertenor and Baroque expert, Nicholas Tamagna. The shows will be double cast from OTM's all-professional roster.

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
PARKING in downtown Montclair can be challenging. You should be able to find a spot if you allow extra time and are willing to walk a few blocks. Street parking at meters is free after 7 PM. Spots labeled "permit only" are also generally available after 7, but please read signs closely. Here are some suggestions:
North Willow Street, South Willow Street, Bloomfield Avenue, Claremont Avenue, Forest Street, Greenwood Avenue, Lackawanna Plaza, Gates Avenue, Glenridge Avenue, Walnut Street, North Fullerton Avenue.
There is a metered parking lot located on Glenridge Avenue at Forest Street and a parking deck on North Fullerton Avenue between Bloomfield Avenue and Munn Street. Parking at the Walnut Street Transit Lot is available via the Parkmobile app.
There are many restaurants within walking distance.

1 - Take the Decamp Bus #33 from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Bloomfield Avenue at North Willow Street (about 35 minutes - ask driver to stop at corner). Walk one-and-a-half blocks north to Redeemer Montclair at 19 North Willow Street (on the right after crossing Glenridge Avenue).
2 - Take the Decamp Bus #66 from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Montclair YMCA stop (about 30 minutes). Walk toward Bloomfield Avenue, make a left. Walk downhill to North Willow Street, make a left. Walk one-and-a-half blocks north to Redeemer Montclair at 19 North Willow Street (on the right after crossing Glenridge Avenue).
3 - (Thursday and Friday only) Take NJ Transit Midtown Direct Train from Penn Station to Walnut Street Station, Montclair. Exit train and walk straight onto Walnut Street two blocks to North Willow Street. Make a left and walk two blocks to Redeemer Montclair at 19 North Willow Street.
4 - (Saturday - train runs only to Bay Street every two hours.) Take NJ Transit Midtown Direct Train from Penn Station to Bay Street Station, Montclair. Walk towards Glenridge Avenue and make a left. Walk five blocks and make a right at North Willow Street. Redeemer Montclair will come up quickly on the right at 19 North Willow Street.
