Doors 8:30, Show at 9.
Hand to Mouth is a one-of-a-kind show that asks comedians to write and perform all new material on a specific social, cultural or political issue. One show, one topic. Comedian Trevor Hill assembles the brightest comics in San Francisco and beyond to find the funny in such topics as commercialism, technology, gender and conspiracy theories. Performers include up-and-comers alongside veteran comics who have appeared on NBC, MTV, E! and Comedy Central. The show has appeared at SF Sketchfest and the Sacramento Comedy Festival, where in 2013 it was named “Best of Fest”. Hand to Mouth uses a mixture of stand-up, debate, video and multimedia presentations in order to provide the audience with not only laughs, but a sense of edification. "It would appear allowing comedians to stretch their creativity to encompass yet redefine a specific theme is as good for them as it was for us.” -San Francisco Guardian.
April’s Topic: Sadness!
On Friday 4/18 comedians Keith Lowell Jensen (Showtime), Jules Posner (SF Sketchfest), Shanti Charan (SF Punchline, Cobb's), Gabe Dinger (Bridgetown Comedy Fest), Matt Lieb (Mission Postition), Josef Anolin (Laughs on Laughs) and Misha Trubs (Sylvan Productions) will join Trevor in discussing all things sad. Come laugh at our pain as these hopeless humorists discuss bummers, bad luck, bring-downs and boner-kills. You bring the laughs. We'll bring the tears.
Every Third Friday of the Month!
