Hand Made Tech Showcase

Artisan Week at General Assembly

Thursday, March 1st from 7:00 - 10:00 pm

Reserve your space at this first of its kind, two part event where we’ll explore the influence technology will have on the future of artisanship and showcase some of the coolest companies already out there sporting artisan wares.

Part I: Panel

Innovative, technology-enabled business models have revolutionized the way new companies are approaching the development, marketing, and distribution of physical products. We've invited leaders from some of the most ground breaking of these companies to join in a panel discussion and explore how new processes and technologies can be applied to further the growth of artisanship and craftsmanship.

Jack Cheng - Founder, Disrupto + Member.ly

David Gilboa - Founder, Warby Parker

Mike Horn - Founder, Craft Coffee + WhatIsFresh

Bret Kovacs - Chief Marketing Office, Quirky

Danielle Gould - Founder, Food+Tech Connect

Part II: Exhibition

Come for the panel but stay for the artisan goods. These online purveyors will demo their products and open up their catalogues to share with attendees the finest artisan wines, beers, foods, and products.

*The Hand Made Tech Showcase is part of HAND MADE Artisan week at GA. An all access pass grants you admission to all other HAND MADE classes + events, including Branding and Design for Artisans, Selling Your Craft Online, and The Business of Brooklyn with Charlie O'Donnell
