Hand-Building Camp

Join us for clay camp, where kids learn the basics of ceramics hand-building. Campers will experiment with low-fire clay and discover ways to build functional pottery as well as creative sculpture — monsters and mugs, nature-inspired works, zoo creatures, and anything they dream up. Each week campers will spend Monday and Tuesday making pieces to glaze (a hard, glossy finish). On Wednesday and Thursday, campers will make work to decorate on Friday with acrylic paints, feathers, string, and more. All pottery will be ready to take home at the end of camp on Friday.
