About this event
The event will start with presentations by Austin Transit Partnership (ATP), Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), Austin Public Works, and the Red Line Parkway Initiative. To follow will be Q&A, and then, a deep dive as subdivided teams addressing questions, such as:
- What forms of design for the public space would improve access to MetroRail & CapMetro buses in this area?
- How might the I-35 Capital Expressway Cut & Cap proposals impact or be integrated into this district?
- What is the ideal future of the retail strip, Hancock Shopping Center, in 10 years? In 25 years?
- And, furthermore!
The event is open to all, design or non-design by trade/schooling. We will be encouraging diverse backgrounds for teams to enhance the potential of solutions for the design!
Capacity will be limited, so please register as you know your availability. Lunch is provided. (Please provide jcarrillo@parkhill.com, phammond@parkhill.com, or pdufrene@rviplanning.com with any dietary restrictions, if any.)
