The Hampton University Atlanta Alumni Chapter is sponsoring a tour to visit the Hampton University campus on High School Day, April 7, 2017.
Hampton University High School Day is sponsored by the Office of Admissions. Prospective students from all around the world come visit the campus to determine interest in pursuing a higher education at our 'Home By The Sea'.
Students from middle school (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) who desire to be exposed to the college experience, or high school students (9th-11th grade) who are narrowing down their University choices... a visit to the most beautiful campus that you will ever experience is in order!
High School Day Schedule
Morning sessions - participants are welcomed into the University Convocation Center for the general assembly of all of the students visiting from all over. Afterwards, students are given a guided tours of the campus to become familiar with the grounds. Additionally, there are question and answer periods designed to allow the student to learn more about the university's seven schools, financial aid, and housing.
Lunch is on their own and students are encouraged to interact with students from Georgia who will be there to greet them or to visit the academic buildings to meet with professors.
The evening is full of entertainment: mingle with the college students as they participate in 'on the yard' life, tour dorms, experience entertainment from the marching band, dance teams, Greeks, choirs, etc.
All permission slips and registration forms for High School Day will be forwarded to you by email with instructions with directions to return them to the organizer. The location for departure will be provided closer to the date. Please make plans to be dropped off AND picked up on site, no cars will be left overnight.
