Description
The 11th Annual Halloween Hustle 5K & Kids Dash will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 8:30am. This Halloween themed race runs through historic downtown Palatine. Immediately following the race, runners and spectators alike are invited to partake in a special after party at the Tap House Grill.

5K Amenities: All 5K Participants receive a customized Dri-Fit Long Sleeve Shirt, goody bag, and NEW FOR 2016 - A FINISHER MEDAL!
Kid's Dash Info & Amenities: All Mini Monster 0.5 Kid's Dash participants receive a cotton t-shirt, bib, goody bag, and a pumpkin.
The kid's dash will be a 0.5 mile race and will start exactly at 8:10 am.
Awards: The top 3 Male & Female Finishers in each age group receive a customized Halloween Hustle 5K Medal. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Finisher Medal: All 5K participants will receive a medal upon finishing the race.
After Party: Join us for our annual after party at Tap House Grill for the award ceremony. All participants will receive 2 free beers or soft drinks and free half wrap or sandwich.
Timing: The Halloween Hustle 5k is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.
Packet Pick-up: Packet pick-up will be available race day. Pre-race packet pick-up will be at Road Runner Sports in Kildeer (by the Whole Foods on Rand Rd) at the following times:
- Thursday, October 27 from 12pm-7pm
- Friday, October 28 from 12pm-6pm *note the different times.
Dogs & Strollers: Strollers are allowed at this event. Dogs are not.
Refunds: Since the Halloween Hustle has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. The event will also take place rain or shine and refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
