Halal Economy - Creating Startup Entrepreneurs - London - April 2017

The halal market is worth £2.6bn in Britain alone, Muslim consumers spent approximately $1.8 trillion on food and lifestyle in 2014 alone and the numbers are expected to increase to approximately $2.6 trillion by the year 2020.

From Fashion, Tech, Lifestyle to Food, Halal market is a huge untapped opportunity.

Why attend productive weekend event? - From Idea to Business startup, Full action packed weekend to learn, experience and explore the future opportunites on halal market.

On Friday night, Participants will begin to network with like-minded individuals, pitch their idea and form a team. Create a business plan, basic prototype and action plan, Execute it for the rest of the weekend and turn your passion into a business. The final delivery of the product / prototype with presentation will be on Sunday night and an opportunity to attract initial seed investment.

Who can attend: IT Developers, Designers, Entrepreneurs and any person with business startup mindset with a goal to become successful entrepreneur and business leader.


Beginning with Friday evening, start networking, pitch your ideas or join a team, develop a business plan, create a basic prototype and work throughout the weekend to design, develop and deliver with a demo on Sunday night with your product / presentations.

Event Schedule:
Friday Evening:
6:00pm – Doors open – Check-in
6:15pm – Introduction & networking
6:30pm - Dinner & practice pitches
7:00pm – Pitch, Pick and choose
8:45pm - Salah break
9:00pm – Form a team and finalise the plan for the rest of the weekend.
10:00pm - Finished for the Day

Saturday:
9:00am – Doors open - Simple Breakfast & Coffee
9:30am - Setup your workspace and begin work
12:30pm – Lunch
1:00pm – Duhr Salah break
1:15pm - Continue working
2:00pm - Mentor / Coach Sessions
4:00pm - Asr Salah break
4:15pm - Continue working
7:00pm – Dinner
7:30pm - Continue working,
8:45pm - Isha Salah break
10:00pm - Finished for the Day

Sunday:
9:00am – Doors open - Simple Breakfast & Coffee
9:30am - Begin work
10:00am – Mentor/Coach Sessions, Continue working
12:30pm – Lunch

3:00pm – Prepare for presentations

5:00pm – FINAL PRESENTATIONS
7:00pm – Judging & awards
