hack.rva Arduino class
Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST)
This is your basic microcontroller class, based off the popular open source Arduino physical computing platform. This is designed for people with no background in microcontroller programming, or programming in general. Regular tickets include all the hardware you need to get started. Class runs for 4 hours, and will go over the basic control structures you need to get started, pulse width modulation and basic digital I/O, and you'll leave with hardware that runs a program you wrote to control hardware (LEDs). Extra help available for a few hours afterwards for free to anyone in the class.
Get ready to create all the robotics projects you can dream up.
Class is officially 4 hours, but will probably run for 5 or 6, and then we'll stick around after to offer extra help to anyone needing it.
Edit: event moved to 2/27. Please register early, we will not be accepting any registrations at the door.
