Hackney’s Circular Built Environment Conference
Overview
Hackney’s Circular Built Environment Conference
Join us for a free focused, action-oriented conference dedicated to exploring circular economy principles within Hackney’s built environment.
The construction sector is a major consumer of resources, while being responsible for a huge proportion of waste (59%) in the UK. By shifting how we design, build and use our assets, we can unlock massive cost savings, boost social value and accelerate our journey to net-zero carbon.
This is a vital opportunity for Council colleagues and external partners within this area to collaborate on Hackney’s net-zero and social value goals.
This conference aims to
- educate on the circular economy in the built environment,
- showcase inspiring approaches to identify internal opportunities and realise cost-saving, social value, and carbon savings,
- generate ideas for implementation in Hackney,
- establish a lasting network in Hackney and beyond.
