What happens?

Young people use code and problem solving to develop websites, apps, programs, games and explore the possibilities of technology in an informal and creative environment. It's a great opportunity to meet like minded people, experts and potential future employers!

Pick your challenge, turn up with an idea and you have just two days to bring your idea to life and present to the judges. You can do this on your own or in a team of up to 4 people. You don't all have to be coders - but if not, be ready to learn!

If you are NEW to coding we will start you off with a few coding exercises with some of our friendly mentors and see if it's something you enjoy.

What to bring

You will need to supply your own computer. If you have a laptop, Raspberry Pi (you will need a keyboard, monitor and mouse), or desktop computer bring that along. Please ensure they are WIFI enabled.

We have a limited number of laptops we can loan out, let us know when signing up for your ticket.

Food - A packed lunch, snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. If you have special dietary requirements please feel free to bring your own snacks.

The conference centre at the Science & Industry Museum on Liverpool Road in Manchester City Centre.
