Join us as we bring together developers, designers and healthcare practitioners to hack the quantified self! Attendees will be exposed to new open source software packages that promise to change the way we connect with our own personal health information. Developers from all projects will be on-hand to answer questions and assist in development ideas.
This event is being held in conjunction with the SUNY's Open Source Festival.
Activity 1: Hacking HEPCAT (Healthboard Personal Conditions Tracker) - join us as we further develop the HEPCAT application, a custom quantified self tracker application designed to allow individuals to compare and contrast healthcare data coming from a variety of sources: self-reported, device-centric, or clinician provided.
Activity 2: EWD (Enterprise Web Developer) & VistA Reimagined - join designers, developers and system architects as we rethink the delivery of EMR data in the US' most widely utilized EMR - VistA, which serves nearly 9 million veterans worldwide.
Activity 3: Work with our designers as we imagine what futuristic patient-driven EMR screens might look like. We welcome your input on designing interfaces that could change the way we access our own health data and derive meaningful insight from it.
