About this Event
Ample studies on the Gender Bias in Investment Indicate that Bias exists! If so why? As women and men who support women, what can be done to change? What can organizations do to change this?
We at SLP, are finding hacks through a women-led panel discussion. We discuss ways to crack the glass ceiling and co-create the hacks to overcome the bias.
Startup Leadership brings a unique fast-paced gathering of stories and a panel discussion from women founders, with added perspectives from Male Co-founders and investors themselves. A woman-led event where all are welcome.

Seema Chaturvedi, Founder, Managing Partner at AWE (Achieving Women Equity) Funds
Seema has over 20 years of capital markets and financial management experience. As an entrepreneur, investor & investment banker, she brings a unique perspective to the strategic planning process to enhance stakeholder value. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of AWE Funds, a platform for investing early stage capital in women owned, led and influenced businesses.
Vaishali Neoti, Co-founder & CEO at Merxius
Vaishali Neotia is an engineer, entrepreneur and nature lover. She is also the cofounder and CEO of Merxius, whose flagship AI and XR product RED prepares engineering enterprises for industry 4.0. Merxius investors include The Boeing Company, The Alchemist among others. Vaishali is an alumnus of La Martiniere, Osmania University, Indian School of Business & Goldman Sachs 10000 women, Stanford GSB Ignite, Startup Leadership, Sonder Connect and UN Empretec. She was mentored by Ms Dina Powell, previously deputy national security advisor to U.S President Trump for Strategy and head of impact investment at Goldman Sachs, as part of the US Consulate and Fortune Magazine’s Global Women Mentorship Program.
Nida Sahar, Founder, Nife Nida is extremely passionate about empowering women and kids, especially in technology. She volunteers with AnitaB.org for Google Summer of Code and Google Code-In. With Passion for startups, she previously worked on a podcast – Maharajas of Scale.
With 10+ years of work experience, primarily into Application development of storage applications she is now working on an Edge Computing Platform – Nife in Singapore. When not coding or working on startups, she is writing poetry, with a few anthologies to her name. Nida is India Director in the Startup Leadership Program.
Dr. Mandeep Rai, Author and Speaker, The Values Compass
Author of "The Values Compass". Dr. Mandeep Rai is a global authority on values, working with companies, institutions, and individuals around the world. She has traveled to more than 150 countries and reported as a broadcast journalist for the BBC World Service and Reuters, among others.
Mandeep studied philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE), has an MSc in development from the London School of Economics, and completed an MBA at London Business School, with a year at Harvard Business School and MIT. She also holds a PhD in global values.
