Join us April 18th at Duke to see seven startups disrupting the $350B government market for collaboration software, biometric analysis, telemedicine solutions, planning, cost-benefit and social media analysis tools.

Featured on NPR nationwide, Military Seeks Tech Talent In New Ways, Duke's first Hacking for Defense course, takes teams of interdisciplinary students from across Duke's Med, Law, Fuqua, Pratt, Sanford and Trinity graduate and undergraduate programs and teaches them to build startups to solve tough national security problems. All the problems are from NC based units. Over every week this semester, teams interviewed hundreds of military users, built and evolved dozens of MVPs and prototypes, and explored both selling directly to the military and expanded to commercial applications.

Over a few hours you'll see and interact with these seven teams, see Duke's interdisciplinary and service offerings at the best, and be exposed to early-stage ventures seeking capital to tackle the biggest of markets.

Reception starts at 5pm with pitches beginning promptly at 6pm in Schichiano Auditorium within Duke's Fitzpatrick Center. Parking is available at the Bryan Center parking lot and garage with overflow at the Science Drive garage (with free bus to Fitzpatrick) Admission is free, seats are limited so please RSVP today.
