Event description
Hackercrunch presents its second launch as our students from Beckman, Northwood, and Portola high school will demo their course review app.

About this Event

Hackercrunch is an educational institution dedicated in jump starting student's interest in computer science and software engineering. Through our specialized team programs, students work with software engineering professionals and other fellow students to develop either a web or mobile app under Facebook's React Native framework.

Our two teams developed a course review web application for high school students in Irvine where students can share their experiences with the type of classes they have taken by reporting their grade, weekly hours spent on the course, overall rating of the course, AP score they have received, and personal review. This app is designed to help both students and parents navigate and plan their future academic schedules through looking into the experiences of other students.

After the demo, Hackercrunch will introduce its new coding school initiative to aim to teach computer science fundamentals to students (from middle school to high school) who want to pursue computer science as a major and think about interning at top tech companies during college.

Lastly, we will close with our raffle to give out prizes to our guests. We hope to see you at our launch, so you can learn more about our app and future programs.
