Come enjoy the outdoors and make a difference with Heal the Bay’s Stream Team! Heal the Bay is partnering with the Mountains Restoration Trust to restore areas of Leo Carrillo State Park.

Invasive plants have negative impacts on natural habitats, so removing them is vital for a healthy watershed. Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while helping remove non-native vegetation in an effort to restore native plants along Arroyo Sequit in Leo Carrillo State Park.

  • Please wear sturdy shoes
  • Long pants and a long-sleeved work shirt are strongly recommended
  • Bring plenty of water and a snack
  • Bring sunscreen/hat

  • Gloves and tools will be provided.

Directions: Request a parking pass for the Heal the Bay/Mountains Restoration Trust restoration event at the front gate. We'll meet at the picnic benches next to the parking lot - look for an orange cone to mark the spot.
